In this tutorial I will show you the the first steps of using the wapIRC service. Required is the registration on the WAPd.de Website.
1. With the browser log in your account http://www.wapd.de
2. and choose under wapIRC your IRC-Nick and your IRC-Network. Klick on the Set button. Now you are already on the main configuration page.
3. If your network is not in the drop down list go to the FAQ section of WAPd or consult us under netadd@wapd.de. Requiered is that you have an adminsitrativ position on the network you want to add.
4. Now you can take your mobile phone. Set the browser on your mobile to URL http://wap.wapd.de
5. You will be directed to the login page of wapd. Set in here your account informations(Note: this account datas are the same as you log in with your normal browser on (www.wapd.de).
6. After login choose here wapIRC.
7. If all works fine you should be connected right now this look like that. Now you see the channellist, here are listed all channels you are in. With "join/query" you can youn channels or open querrys to other persons (Privat Chat).
