requirements
You need a bluetooth device to establish under linux a connection to your mobile or pda. The following kernelmodules should be loaded for proper working:
bluez, hci_usb, hci_uart, l2cap, rfcomm, hid, hci_vhci, uhci
also these deamons have to be started:
hcid, sdpd

After you have successfully stared and insert the deamons and moduls you must enable bluetooth visuability to your phone. If all works fine on the command prompt the command
hciconfig should show something like this:
wapdgate # hciconfig

Now you scan your phone:
wapdgate # hcitool scan
Scanning ... 00:0A:D9:90:A0:86 T68i
The output give you adress (that we need on the next steps) and modell of your phone
connect
To connect your phone with the bluetooth dongle enter following command:
wapdgate # rfcomm bind 0 00:0A:D9:90:A0:86 1
Now we open the gprs connection. You can download the scripts for this step here:

Finally we start the WapDproxy client:
